Attendance / School Day

School opens at 9.00am       School closes at 3.30pm

The school week is 32.5 hours per week

Pupils must be ready to enter the classroom at 9.00am. Pupils arriving after 9.05am will be marked as unauthorised late.  If a pupil is late or absent for over 5% of the school year to the date of review, parents/carers may be contacted by the Education Welfare Officer to improve their child's attendance.

If your child is absent from school, you must notify us immediately giving the reason for their absence.

Requests for leave of absence for special circumstances must be requested at least three weeks prior to the intended absence.  Unless holiday requests are as a result of very specific special circumstances, holidays will not be authorised in term time and may result in a fixed penalty notice being issued.
